MONTENEGRO FOLLOWS MACEDONIAN AND ALBANIAN STEPS!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The project partner in Montenegro, using the experience gained from the establishment of the Macedonian and Albanian Green Lobby Group, undertook intensive lobbying activities to recruit key members for the Montenegrin Green Lobby Group. In order to ease the presentation of the whole idea, the Montenegrin partner Green Home prepared summery of the project materials in Montenegrin language.
The first official meeting of the Montenegrin newly – potentional members of the MNE Parliamentary Green Lobby Group was held on 19 May 2009, in hotel CITY in Podgorica.
For all deputies who, regardless to their political origin or conviction, are willing to work for improvement and protection of the environment respecting the sustainable development principles.
Participants in the Project expressed desire for stronger co-operation between the Parliament and CSO as well as the mechanism for establishing a better flow of information, primarily at the national level but also at the regional level.
That MPs, potentional members of the MNE GLG, took their works seriously speaks the following: during the discussions related to the Regional Cooperation and real possibilities of working on Regional Environmental projects.
After the well organized meeting, President of Montenegrin Parliament H.E. Ranko Krivokapic met with delegation of Albanian and Macedonian Parliament and support project and express willingness of Montenegrin Parliament to join to Regional Green Parliament Lobby Group.

Ambassador of Macedonia in Montenegro H.E. Stefan Nikolovski meet with delegation, MPs, CSO and media representatives from Macedonia.
